Our client is a global corporation that sells pricing, news and research for commodities markets. Their products are used by investment banks, investment managers and corporations in order to make trading decisions (front-office) as well as to confirm post-trade actions (middle- and back-office). Their markets include coal, freight, gas, metals, oil, power and transportation. The products are sold direct via feeds or through third party firms such as Thomson Reuters and Bloomberg.
We seek a Sales Manager to manage a team and to have a personal sales quota. You will work with the team to sell the solutions on a site license basis across all areas of an organisation. You will also personally manage a group of major accounts.
You will have a background of selling market data products to financial firms. You will manage a UK sales team and therefore sales management experience is essential. Ideally you will have experience of commodities products. You will understand how investment banks are structured and will be selling direct to the business and end users.
